Sponsors included: EXIT Realty (Robert Fanjoy), Marysville Place Employee Fitness Program, The Radical Edge, GAP Custom Images, Horncastle Studio, Tri-Athlete, Sobeys Oromocto, Dr. Doug Demmings (DDS), Scholten's, On-The-Spot-Photo, Hilltop Grill & Beverage Co., Atlantic Chip Timing, Canex, "Art, Earth & Stone", Wheelers, JUNGLE JIMS, East Coast Wheels Ltd., KENT, Pizza Hut, UNB Bookstore, Tim Horton’s, SUBWAY, Toys-R-Us, City of Fredericton, Home Hardware Oromocto, Lincoln Day Care, Scott’s Nursery, Bens Trophies & Awards, Paul Jordan Photography, NAPA Oromocto, The Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage, SHUR-GAIN FEEDS'N NEEDS, Recycle NB, FITWORKS, Wells Fargo Financial, Department of Environment, Breezes Salon & Spa, P & H Contracting and The Daily Gleaner.
Other details: No Water Stops. All proceeds going to the IWK Childrens Hospital. Last year, together we raised over $3000.00 and hope to meet that amount again this year with your help. Also, Paul Jordan will be photographing the event so you will have free digital finishers photos.
Donations – In order to ensure we make our target donation to the IWK of $3000, if you want to, collect some cash or a cheque (made out to the “IWK Health Centre Foundation”) from a friend or two and drop it off on race day, that would be great. All donations will be placed on a pledge form and sent to Joanne Forest (IWK Annual Giving Assistant, 1-800-595-2266). The IWK will provide receipts for pledges equal to $20 and over. Contact me if you want a pledge sheet to canvas for pledges for this event. Thanks.
Why the IWK Health Centre Foundation, my daughter Reagan was born with a congenital heart defect that was successfully repaired at the IWK when she was 7 months old. Simply put this facility saved my daughters life. Reagan will soon be 5 years old and is growing like a bad weed. Come out and meet Reagan who will be participating in the 400m event, and support a great cause too!
