Ironman Prez.
Phil Booker is not only the President of RunNB, but he may just be THE IRONMAN for ALL RunNB participants in 2007!  Phil and Evan Hachey share the lead in greatest participation, each of them having competed in 18 out of the 22 Superseries events so far this year.  Phil missed 3 events because there were simultaneous Superseries events, and because Phil hasn't figured out how to clone himself, so he can be in two places at once.  The other event he "missed" was the Fredericton Marathon, where he ran the 1/2 marathon instead of the 10K, so he would be ready for a 24 hour run in Cape Breton.

Phil
Phil plans to run the marathon at the Marathon By the Sea on September 23.  He should be ready for it, after 18 races plus. Cheer out to The Prez when you see him out on the streets of Saint John on Sunday.
Phil will likely break Rob Jackson's record for the most Superseries points in one year.  Phil has 985.  The record is 1180.  With five events to go, Phil should have no problem breaking it.
Then, there's the record for the most Superseries events in one year.  That might be tougher.  In 2005 Gerry Pugh competed in 25 events.  Phil will have to save that goal for next year.
Well done, Phil!
