Nov 15 2008 - Miramichi River Runners Celebrate 25 Years

The Miramichi River Runners will be celebrating their 25th year as a club with a sit-down banquet and awards night.

The celebration will be at the Goodie Shop in Newcastle on Friday December 5th at 7pm.

Club trophies and jackets will be awarded to the top winners in eight categories for 2008.

The Miramichi River Runners held their first race on January 1,1984 and host 22 races throughout the season beginning on January 1st with the Rocky Blackmore Fun run.

Tickets are still available at $17 each for the Chicken Dinner with trimmings by contacting Brian Richard

Nov 7 2008 - 2008 AC Super Series Awards

This message is intended for all of those runners who finished in the top three in his or her age category in the 2008 RunNB Superseries races. If you are in fact one of the winners, congratulations!  Your hard work this year is going to pay off with a prize of a CoolMax t-shirt.  The shirts are about to be ordered and RunNB wants to make sure it has correct sizes for everyone.  Please contact Rob Jackson at rjactm@nb.aibn.com let us know what t-shirt size you take.  RunNB will then place the order and at some point in the not-too-distant future, you will be contacted with information on how to get your shirt.
