Sep 14 2009 - Fast Times in The Hampton 5 Miler

Hampton's cloudy skies and cool temperatures were perfect conditions for some fast times in the 9th Annual Hampton 5 Miler on Sunday morning. In the men's race, Alex Coffin, 40, showed that experience trumped the younger Chris Brake who displayed a bold comeback after being absent from most of this summer's road racing circuit.  Paula Keating established a new course record time of 30:02. The Miramichi runner, also in her 40's, has dominated NB's womens road racing this season. Click to view all results. Click to view the PICTURE OF THE WEEK.
