Aug 25 2010 - MARATHON COACH CERTIFICATION

Join the cutting-edge of the fitness industry.  Share your running passion with others.  Improve your running experience.  The North American Academy for Sport Fitness Professionals (NAASFP) has brought to Canada the first Marathon Coach certification.  The four-day program gives you all the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully coach amateur athletes.  The comprehensive program covers all the fundamentals from anatomy, to programming, to the business of coaching.  You will be equipped to plan, market, and deliver safe and effective running programs.

Aug 4 2010 - 115th Boston Marathon - Bus Tour

We depart New Brunswick on the morning of Friday 15 April. All you have to do is sit back relax and prepare yourself for Monday mornings adventure. For 2011 we are offering 2 travel options. Option 1 is based in Boston City Centre and is a bare bones tour in that we will just be providing the Bus transport to Boston and the hotel for the duration of the stay, all other arrangements will be made on your own including shuttling to Hopkinton on race morning. With Option 2 we will say in Tewkesbury in the Fairfield Inn and take in the Race Expo, pre-race drive on the Marathon route and arrangements for the bus to take you to and from the marathon, plus lots of free time in Boston. Two great options for you to enjoy the Marathon experience.
