Feb 16 2011 - Fredericton Marathon Pacers Needed
The Fredericton Marathon is looking for runners who would be willing be a pacer in either the 1/2 or full Marathon on May 9th. Those interested can sign up free of charge at www.atlanticchip.ca We are hoping to have pacers for every 10-15 minute intervals beginning at 3:30 for the full and 1:45 for the half. We ask that you provide a bit of a background as to your ability to pace at whatever time you select. We currently have someone to pace at 4:15 and 3:30 for the marathon. We are offering free entry, t-shirt and pre-race pasta meal. Organizers may suggest that you pace at a different time than you select if your chosen time is taken.
