Double-Victory for Roy at 10K Rheal Hache and 21st St Andrews Father's Day 5 Miler

Last weekend, several RunNB sanctioned races took place across the province. Top perfomances include Pier-Luc Roy's (Dieppe) double-victory at the 10KM Rhéal Haché in St-Isidore in a time of 34:11, then 28:22 in the 41st St Andrews Father's Day 5 Miler. Sylvie Leblanc's (Bathurst) took home the win for the ladies at the 10KM Rhéal Haché in 42:39 and Sarah Beairsto (Fredericton) was victorious in the 41st St Andrews Father's Day 5 Miler. More than 200 runners participated at the St Andrews Father's Day 5 Miler. Jean-Marc Doiron came in first at the GMRC Nickle and Dime Beaver 5K in a time of 16:00, and Timmy Basque won the June 5K in Miramichi in 17:49 for the men, while Paula Keating was the winner for the ladies in 19:39. Congratulations to all runners for these fantastic results!

Coming up this weekend are four exciting events: ChiRunning Workshop in Fredericton on Saturday, then Sunday will feature the Miramichi Rock N Run 2019 where we will award the top 3 New-Brunswickers for men and women in the 5k distance with the title of 2019 RunNB 5KM Champions, as well as cash prizes! The June Run for Renee 5k in Quispamsis will also be taking place on this day. For lovers of longer distances, Sunday will aso be featuring the Bay of Fundy International Marathon, Half Marathon, 52K Ultramarathon and 10K.
