Great turnout over the weekend!

Over the past weekend there were two RunNB sanctioned races on July 13th. Here’s a recap of each!

 

40thAnnual Course George Gallant Memorial Road Race

-10km, Jonathan Cleghorn of Fredericton finished first with a time of 32:35. Jean-Marc Doiron of Moncton came second with a time of 33:25 and Pier-Luc Roy of Dieppe finished 3rdwith a time of 33:41. Frida Aspnaes of Tyreso finished first of the women with a time of 37:40, Sacha Hourihan of Southfield came in second with a time of 38:11 and Aline Goguen of Grande-Digue finished third with a time of 44:10.

-5km, Alexandre L’Heureux  of Hanwell finished first (16:46), Aaron Sellers of Moncton finished second (18:29) and Yannick Boudreau of Dieppe finished third (19:06). Mary-Beth Jaillet of Moncton was the first female to finish the race (19:56), Lindsay Laltoo also of Moncton was second (20:12) and Marie-Eve Castonguay Leger of Dieppe was third (21:52).

-1km, the top three finishers of this distance were Jeremie Bourque of Grand-Barachois (6:02), Alex Leblanc of Moncton (6:04) and Tristan Doucette of Memramcook (6:06) just finishing seconds behind eachother.

Course à pied “Bon Coeur”

-10km, Greg Sawyer of St-Jacques came in first with a time of 35:34. Pierre Ouellette from St-Quentin finished second (41:22) and Benoit Desjardins finished third (42:55). Nathalie Boivin of Bathurst was the first female to finish with a time of 43:46.

-5km, Mathias Michaud of Dalhousie finished first with a time of 25:23, Damien Thibodeau of St-Eustache second (27:25) and Noah Ouellette of St-Quentin third (27:28).

-2km, Thomas Thibodeau of St-Eustache finished first with a time of 8:13 and Audrey Poirier of Moncton was the first girl to finish with a time of 8:52.

-1km, Magalie Lebel of Riviere-Verte was the first to finish in 5:05 and Fabien Michaud Vioeltte in 5:27.
