|5 New Provincial records!|

Though not even three months into the new year, New Brunswick runners have already accomplished 5 provincial records in road races. With the Maritimes still under far too much snow, runners headed to Bermuda and New York City in hopes of escaping the cold and getting into a better running environment.
Peggy Couper broke the women's 70-79 half marathon record with a time of 2:02:02, and the one mile record with a time of9:02, both on January 18th in Hamilton, Bermuda. Jut weeks later, Couper also broke the 5km record on February 1st in Paget, Bermuda.... >> more

YOU ARE INVITED to RUN NB's Race Director Summit !
RUN NB will be hosting a special summit to help build the sport of Road Running in New Brunswick and we would like you to attend! Theses session will allow Run NB to better serve events across the province as well as to gather new ideas and initiatives from you, the Race Directors. We hope to see you then.
We will be hosting the English session on Saturday March 28th in Fredericton and a French session in Beresford on Sunday March 29th.

|Lee Roy wins MRR 10km Race February 22|

Lee Roy from Bathurst won the race with a time of 34:40, which is remarkable considering the running conditions. Lee owns the course record with a time of 32:19 he set last year. “I found the footing slippery at times.” said Roy after the race.
Sylvain Arseneau from Petit-Rocher, the MRR “Runner of the Year” for the past three runners placed second with a time of 39:54. Paul Comeau from Miramichi took third with a time of 42:31.
The top runner both male and female who accumulates the most points will be recognized as Runners of the Year. Arseneau... >> more

This past Sunday 33 runners took part in the Brian Richard January 5km Road Race in Miramichi!
Top Males were: Jean Marc Doiron of Collette (15:58), Lee Roy of Bathurst was 2nd in 15:59, and Sylvain Arsenault of Petit-Rocher was 3rd in 18:55.
Top Females were: Anouk Pelletier of Petit Rocher (20:47), Gill Philips of Fredericton was 2nd in 22:07 while Natalie Waterburry of Miramichi was 3rd in 24:11.
