RunNB Opens Nominations for the RunNB Hall of Fame

Fredericton, NB— Run New Brunswick (RunNB) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the RunNB Hall of Fame, an honour established to recognize and celebrate the athletes, builders, and teams who have made an outstanding impact on the running community in New Brunswick.
The RunNB Hall of Fame acknowledges:
- Runners and amateur teams, including cross‑country teams, whose exceptional achievements have brought distinction to RunNB; and
- Builders— coaches, officials, organizers, administrators, executive members, sponsors, and patrons — who have made significant and lasting contributions to the development and advancement of running in the province.
There are two categories of induction:
- Runner(including teams)
- Builder
Nominations for the 2026 induction cycle will be accepted until August 1, 2026. RunNB encourages nominators to familiarize themselves with the eligibility criteria and submission guidelines before submitting. Full nomination guidelines can be found on the RunNB.ca website under Hall of Fame.
This year’s Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony will take place in Beresford in November, where the newest inductees will be formally celebrated for their contributions to the sport and the running community.
