Moncton Fisher Cats host 5K Fun Run to support trip to Nationals in Victoria, BC

MONCTON, NB — The Moncton Fisher Cats Senior Baseball Club enjoyed its most successful season to date this past year — capturing the New Brunswick Senior Men’s Baseball Championship and earning the right to represent New Brunswick at the Baseball Canada Men’s National Championships in Victoria, BC from August 23-27, 2018. The team is organizing a 5K Fun Run in support of the team's trip to Nationals.

 

The Fisher Cats 5K Fun Run will take place on Saturday, June 2 at 9 a.m., starting at the Field of Dreams, CN Sportsplex Field #3 in Moncton. The route will head into the Centennial Park trails and finish with a homerun trot around the bases. The registration fee is $40 with a family/group of four rate of $140. Ages 10+. The team's home opener is Sunday, May 27 at 2 p.m. vs. the Fredericton Royals at Kiwanis Park. Mayor Dawn Arnold will be in attendance to help kick off the 2018 season.
