Mr Alain Caron from Charlo, New-Brunswick. Alain started running in 1982. At the time, he weighs 240 pounds. He ran is first 10 k in 1984 and his time was 50 minutes. The most marathons he ran in 1 year were 14. His best marathon was in Ile d?Orléans, Quebec in 1992 in 3:02:43.
In 1993, his wife Mme Jeannita Caron decided to organize a marathon in Charlo, New-Brunswick in their own Village. Twenty years later, Alain did run all the 20th marathon of the Bay des Chaleurs!
He runs Boston in the United-States 17 times. He?s the only runner?s from New-Brunswick that run all the edition of Marathon des Deux-Rives from Lévis, Quebec.
At this date, he ran 193 marathons and by the end of October, he will have 195 totals and he hope to keep running as long as he will be able to.
During the winter, he does cross country skiing plus his running.
In the Maritimes province, he is the only runner who runs 193 marathon and we hope that you will considerer his nomination for the Hall of Fame.

Over the following years Alain has accomplished 193 marathons with the Legs 4 Literacy marathon in Moncton in early October of this year as his last one to date. He has completed 17 Boston marathons and has run 14 marathons in one year.
His personal best marathon was in Orleans Quebec in 1992 when he ran a 3:02:43.
