RunNB Annual Awards Banquet in Bathurst on November 7

BATHURST, NB – RunNB is pleased to announce that its Annual Awards Banquet will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Atlantic Host Inn in Bathurst.
Co-hosted by RunNB and the Chaleur Road Runners Club, the event will bring together members of New Brunswick's running community for an afternoon and evening of celebration, recognition and camaraderie.
The festivities begin with a cocktail reception with a cash bar at 4 p.m., followed by the RunNB Awards Banquet. Guests will enjoy a hot buffet featuring a choice of salmon with lemon-dill sauce or BBQ chicken, along with pasta salad or potato salad, seasonal vegetables, rice, dessert selections, coffee and tea.
Tickets are $45 for RunNB members and $50 for non-members. Space is limited and attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early. Registration is open at https://bit.ly/4AzoXrL
During the banquet, RunNB will present awards in the following categories:
- Male Runner of the Year • Female Runner of the Year
- Up-and-Coming Male Runner of the Year
- Up-and-Coming Female Runner of the Year
- Sylvio Bourque Memorial Award (Most Inspirational Runner)
- Personal Achievement Award
- Event of the Year
"The Annual Awards Banquet is an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements of runners, volunteers, race organizers and clubs from across New Brunswick," said Alex Coffin, RunNB President. "We look forward to recognizing excellence in our sport and bringing our running community together for a memorable evening."
